On the night of June 11, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the Russian reconnaissance ship “Priazovye” with the help of six marine drones, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry reports.
According to the agency, the ship was not damaged, and all the drones were destroyed by fire from standard weapons.
The press service writes that the ship “Priazovye” performed the tasks of protecting the gas pipelines “Turkish Stream” and “Blue Stream”. The attack took place 300 kilometers from Sevastopol.
In addition, the agency claims that during the attack in the airspace of the Black Sea, an American strategic reconnaissance drone RQ-4B Global Hawk conducted reconnaissance.
On May 24, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that the Ivan Khurs ship, which ensured the security of the Turkish Stream and Blue Stream gas pipelines, was attacked by three marine drones.
The next day, a video of the drone attack was circulated on Ukrainian Telegram channels . Ukrayinska Pravda, citing its source in military circles, wrote that as a result of the attack, the ship received significant damage to the hull and equipment.
Nevertheless, on May 26, videos of “Ivan Khurs” in the bay of Sevastopol appeared on social networks . There was no visible damage to the ship.
