This was done by the soldiers of the 68th separate chasseur brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush,” the speaker said.
He said that the operation was successful in cooperation with other units. In the very first assault group, which had the goal of taking possession of the village club, the deputy brigade commander participated.
“So to speak, he led by personal example,” said Shershen.
In parallel with this, according to him, there were battles for the school, it was there that the invaders had well-thought-out firing points.
“The invaders resisted to the last. Our soldiers used a certain ingenuity, made a hole in the wall of the club with a grenade launcher, went inside through it and then a sweep took place. They surrounded several enemies, offered to surrender, but they refused. At the same time, the school was liberated,” the speaker said. .
He stated that during the operation they managed to capture six Russian soldiers. Of these, representatives of the “Ministry of Internal Affairs of the DPR” and two Russian servicemen.
